Progressive Converting adds more Capacity to their Appleton and Hazleton Facilities

Progressive Converting (Pro-Con) announced that it has installed a Jagenberg sheeter in their Appleton plant and a 136” A+F rewinder in the Hazleton facility. “Our Jagenberg sheeter was installed with both auto change slitters and auto roll splice capabilities that allow us to better address the changing demands of JIT and smaller order sizes that our industry faces today. The 136” rewinder allows us to address the wider rolls that customers are looking to convert as well as provide additional capacity to meet the needs of both our web sales and converting divisions.” states Jeff Carew, SVP of Manufacturing.

“In 2011 and moving forward in 2012 we will continue to invest in systems, people and equipment to maintain our vision of being the premier converting and logistics partner for the North American paper industry” states Dan Curtin, President and CEO of Pro-Con.

Pro-Con has the capability to sheet and rewind a wide range of products (24lb paper through 36 pt. board), from digital sheets and rolls to traditional size sheets and rolls. For more information on the Jagenberg sheeter or the A+ F rewinder contact Mike Kersten at 920-750-5107.

Pro-Con is a FSC, PEFC and SFI certified converter.
